Made it up to #Chuckanut Drive for the 1st time, this #Autumn, to catch some of the leaves turning & enjoy the crisp sunlight.
Had a bit of a roadside picnic with some lemon bars, and pecan bars we scored from the Farm to Market bakery in Edison, WA.

Got up there in the late part of the afternoon when the light was just ideal. #PNW #roadtrip #SkagitValley

The timing for the trip, today, was pretty ideal. Not just for the break in the rain; but, also next week is the regional #SkagitValley Farmer's Festival. Which is fun & great if you have never done it, or are showing friends around from out of town. But, the area does, surprisingly get traffic jams and generally overrun by tourists. #PNW #roadtrip #Autumn #Chuckanut
