Crocheting an animaguri Moopsy seems the logical option, but won’t create something truly soft and plush.
There definitely are official Pikáchu crochet and sewing patterns that seem to be natural places to start to create a Moopsy pattern.
What happens when you pit Moopsy against an attack tribble?
Moopsy is dangerous against any creature with bones. Standard tribbles don't seem to have bones, but what about attack tribbles? They have teeth, but teeth aren't made of bone.
Or, what if a Moopsy cross-bred with an attack tribble?

It is established that #Moopsy will jump on and eat teeth like candy corn. #AttackTribbles shouldn’t stand a chance.
Not a lot of natural threats for Moopsy that I can think of in #StarTrek canon…
