I just published an article about a content-dependent hash tree as an alternative to the famous Merkle tree. #cas #blockset #can #cryptohash #vendorlockin https://medium.com/@sergeyshandar/content-dependent-hash-tree-9e0f60859415
If you would like to see how the content-dependent tree works on custom text, I've created a simple playground: https://datablockset.com/string-playground #play #tree #binary
A minor update of the string playground: a tree with colors. https://datablockset.com/string-playground
@functionalscript can you proofread it? it looks a bit unfinished with the examples and seemingly random text? I wasn’t able to follow in the second half.
@KirillOsenkov thank you. It looks like some text is corrupted during copying from the original MarkDown file. I will fix it
@KirillOsenkov It looks like Medium doesn't understand tables :-( I fixed the article with tables as code samples. I'm trying to keep the article short. However, I can write more articles/posts/explanations about specific aspects of the subject but there are so many directions. So, please let me know which parts require more attention.
@functionalscript this is very promising, can’t wait for more!
