NASA Names New Head of Technology, Policy, Strategy

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced Monday Charity Weeden will serve as associate administrator for the agency’s Office of Technology, Policy, and Strategy (OTPS), effective immediately. Weeden succeeds Bhavya Lal, who left the agency in July, and Ellen Gertsen, who had been serving as the office’s acting leader since then.

Yes, this is usual because it's the law. NASA is part of the executive branch of the US government. Article VI of the US Constitution states: "[All] executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

@mackaj He won't answer. He blocked me and on his profile wrote that aliens are real:

But we shouldn't mock him for this. Mental illness is a tragedy.
