Purple Asters - Ellie Kennard

I remember taking this photograph so clearly. I spotted the purple colours of these wild asters at the edge of a ditch across the road on a summer walk.... yes.... I can almost feel the warmth of the sun on my back as I leaned over to take this. At times I am beginning to lose that feel of the summer, of the fall, of days that were not cold, of times when I did not have to wear so many layers just to go out the door on a simple walk. But this photograph has helped to bring it back with the hope that those days will come again. I must not lose heart. And if I can keep this project going, the memories I get from them will keep me going. I hope they will do the same for you. Happy World Wild Aster day! And may we have many more!
