Fabulous reissue from #ImpulseRecords The sound of this lp is so much richer and deep than any digital version I've heard. A+

So many great musicians on this, including Shankar of #ECMRecords fame on violin, which would have made this possibly his earliest appearance on a recording.

I'd heard tracks from this before, but never the whole thing front to back...given what I'd heard I was completely unprepared for the start!

Much of it has a Mingus-like quality to it, like something out of Let My Children Hear Music. But that title track, good lord. So powerful.
