@parker I've been on premium for ages, I don't like ads, but still want to support the creators I watch and also YouTube don't care if you have adblock enabled when you have it.
@ailnoth I also think premium is worth it imo just for the sake of supporting the people I watch but YouTube is Google and Google definitely cares if you have adblock enabled enough to attempt forcing you to disable it when they can.
@parker Yeah ... I have never had any issues on prem tho. But I know they gotten somewhat agressive with the ad-supported version.
But at least they are not as bad as meta, I don't have any of their apps on my phone. And use a matrix bridge for messenger. Which gives them about zero metadata compared to their app. They have tried to outright ban me now four-five times for "suspicious activity".
