Reading about the recent successful reintroduction of #oysters to the Firth of Forth #scotland reminded me of an encounter back in 1975 in the Ormalie pub #PortobelloEdinburgh. My mate and I were talking about our recent local scuba dive. Elderly guy at our table cut in saying his family had ancient oyster fishing rights off #Musselburgh. He left and came back a bit later with an old document detailing the areas he had the rights for. I’ll bet that paper is in an attic, lost or forgotten!
