German centrists’ unwillingness to clearly demonstrate that they’re not just far-right enablers might be the most straightforward way of confirming the rest of the world’s number one German stereotype: always were Nazis, never stopped being Nazis, are still Nazis and don’t see it as a problem, neither in practical terms dealing with current crises nor for its historical significance.

Speaking of Germans:
They still make good [product category*], gotta give them that.
Doesn’t exonerate their society from enabling Nazis though…

@mrpelz *nodds in agreement*

What's missing: #MakeFacistsAfraidAgain!

@kkarhan Totally agree, but what I’m getting at is that the people who don’t see collaborating with Nazis as problematic are already a majority and leftist uprising (which is good in itself) is not only not making Nazis afraid but also allows Nazis *and centrists* to paint the Nazis as victims. I don’t have a solution, it just leaves me feeling helpless… :/

@mrpelz the problem is that effective solutions are being criminalized.

Germany made effective Resistance against Nazis a felony in 1972.

And that is the Problem: They don't have to fear Accountability nor Consequences - neither legally nor judicially nor executively nor socioeconomically!

@mrpelz the core problem is the lack of commitment to #Antifacism if not criminalizing it whilst being #Antifacist is a clear commitment to the contitutional values and laws, whereas being a Neonazis is inherently incompatible.

#WhatsMissing: a #ProgressiveFront that goes hardcore after said Nazis and only accepts their conditionless surrender!
