Lived up to its high rankings on MDL & Viki. *Beautiful* cinematography, iconic scenes referenced in many other dramas, great acting, tropes, humor, the best bromance ever, great 2nd couple, coats galore, outstanding OST, past lives, supernatural beings, agony, joy, & fate.

Most complaints are about the age difference between the leads. The actors were 37 & 25, but Kim Go Eun played a high schooler so convincingly that it felt a bit uncomfortable. She ages 10 years in the show & he doesn't, so it worked for me.

How long do you atone for past sins - especially in a previous life? How long must you carry the guilt? Are some sins unforgivable? What would you sacrifice for love? The show brings up a lot of weighty questions. The writing is mesmerizing at times & very witty.

@whoosh age difference aside, I really despise the ML character. He's incredibly selfish and boring. Even what you call bromance was not so great in first episodes. I stopped at the episode with the kidnapping and the car accident.

@s1m0n4 @whoosh the kidnapping was at the end of episode 2. Sometimes they need a bit more time for the friendship to happen. 😉
