@thegreenpagesBC Yes, quite normal. Could quite easily reach 20 or more. We’re only halfway through hurricane season.
Thanks. Does the Pacific Ocean have as many (10-15?) tropical depressions? And, is it normal for several to develop at any one time? Curious because I recall, few years ago, that 4-5 developed in the Pacific within several days of each other.

@thegreenpagesBC Sometimes development clusters and happens back-to-back, sometimes a whole month goes by without any development. But overall, we’re not see an usual amount of tropical cyclones lately.
