I also don't think people realise how impressive it is that an artist famous for the most ballady of ballads has reviews of her new album that pretty much consistently say the handful of ballads on it are the weak part.
I only wish Jim Steinman were around to hear this as he'd have probably loved it. The two working together would have been beautifully ridiculous. I wish for her to go even more theatrical next time. The pop world needs over the top.
