I recently cancelled my #netflix #subscription for a reason I'd have never imagined: frustration at their support.

I was randomly seeing titles I was following being dropped on my TV (and home network), while they would show up in my cellphone network. Laptop would show the titles when tethered to phone, and wouldn't show the titles when connected to home network. Both US ip addresses - one OK, one with problems. From home network - Netflix showed other titles, but didn't find search items..

turns out #netflixus support doesn't escalate to technical support if you get the titles on one network. They told me it was a problem with my ISP, who I got on a 1 hour long call with despite being skeptical. ISP confirmed no issues on their end, asked me to follow up again with #netflix . Netflix support refused to budge. No escalation, claiming it is an ISP issue, no technical reasons being given. No email to reach out to them with more details.

Expected much more, very disappointed.

Key here is that the #netflix server was returning content for both networks for .the same url. It was just returning **different content**

- home network - search results **without matching title**
- phone network - search results **with matching title**

When asked how this was an ISP problem (after also double checking with my ISP), they kept saying 'VPN' (none in place, confirmed by ISP), and just finger pointing to ISP.
