Soooooo I have decided to get my first (and maybe only) tattoo. My daughter who has a couple has offered to guide me in finding a good artist near her (and she’s going to get another one when I go for mine). A wise friend who knows I’m a little nervous about it said “make sure it’s meaningful to YOU”. So I am going simple and something that I see as a symbol of hope and change for the better. Will get it first as a temp 2 week thing and use that also as a good barometer for exact sizing and all but this is what I’m looking at and this will go on my wrist.
#StarTrek
Here’s an image I found online of the logo I like on someone else’s hand/wrist. I don’t know if I want to go straight like this or angled up towards the thumb so when I slight twist my wrist it would “look” straight to me….
Soooooo, my #Inkbox temp tattoo came today. I needed to try it this way first before I make it permanent. I really love it a lot. It’s simple and understated but still means so much to me. #LLAP
Yes, I realize the delta is reversed. Clearly inkbox reversed it in processing. Good thing it’s temp. I’ll make sure we are oriented correctly when I go perm
I think I reversed it accidentally
@robspodcastmug I am not into tattoos. Don’t have any, don’t want to have any. Yet, I am always curious about others getting one, especially the very first one. What does this one, exactly, means to you? Why do you want one, in the first place? Is it more like a semi-permanent fashion? Will you stop at one?
@david I went with this ~2 week temp tattoo to try it out before going permanent. The trek logo means so much to me, especially as a symbol of hope and change for the better. I’m 57. I could use some hood with the way some things are in the world right now.
