#UCSantaBarbara's B. S. Manjunath, a pioneer in big-image-data management and director of the Center for Multimodal Big Data Science and Healthcare, was recently elected to the National Academy of Inventors. He developed the #OpenSource tool, BisQue (Bio-Image Semantic Inquiry User Environment), “to enable reproducible computer vision, bringing together data, annotations, and methods so researchers can reproduce results at any time.
