I guess the moral of the story is not to install #Microsoft apps on #macOS. I really don't like it when software doesn't uninstall properly.
@defaultvlan Most apps that have "just drag it to trash" as their Uninstall method are the same way: there's not a triggered action to remove the bits installed elsewhere (Library items, launch agents/daemons, cached data, or a currently running process). @defaultvlan@infosec.exchangeu my pleasure! The corporate side of Mac apps is largely not supportive of removing their own apps entirely, and the consumer side is worse. It's either laziness, shadiness, or the vendor 'supports' #macOS on the side, like an after thought (looking at you, #digitalguardian )
