Before I log off, I'm reminded of a personal story that I'm willing to share.

One of my most vivid memories of the over 25 years I went to #RockyGrass was the year of "The Rain", perhaps since my kids were so young, but it has become something of a legend. The flood was something else and terrible, but #TheRain was epic!

If you want to see how a more sustainable festival can be managed I recommend checking out Planet Bluegrass especially in Lyons. #BurningMan All that trash and waste is awful.

@GreenFire I have attended #Rockygrass a time or two, and it is wonderful. We attended #TellurideBluegrass this year, and it was also wonderful, although less intimate than Rockygrass.

Back before Planet Bluegrass acquired the venue in Lyons was when I enjoyed their Telluride festivals more. It became more of an expense than it was worth to me quite a while ago, but gorgeous location and good music indisputably.
@GreenFire The festival is in a great location. They're going thru some things currently with sexual harassment claims against the top guy. Not very pretty right now. Although the festival seemed to be booming a couple weeks ago when we drive thru Lyons while it was happening.

Sorry to hear about the allegations at the top, but I'm not surprised since those types of issues are so prevalent in our society globally. I haven't been back since before the pandemic and at this point can't imagine being able to make it back sadly.
