Do you have a #question about current #attachment #theory and #research?

Unfortunately, there is lots of #confusion and #misinformation about attachment theory right now. I have recently written about it in VICE (https://www.vice.com/en/article/pka357/anxious-attachment-style-meaning-neuroscientist-interview) and The Conversation UK (https://theconversation.com/attachment-theory-what-people-get-wrong-about-pop-psychologys-latest-trend-for-explaining-relationships-195034).

I created a dedicated webpage for everybody to ask questions and obtain #evidence-based information about attachment from a #social #neuroscience (#SoNeAt) perspective: https://pvrticka.com/attachment-qanda/.

@PVrticka @SoNeAtLab But neurodiversity is everyone?

@SoNeAtLab

Thank you very much for your question @agvbergin.

Within the context of my #AttachmentQandA, "neurodiversity" refers to the following definition: Being neurodivergent means having a brain that works differently from the average or “neurotypical” person.

This definition is often used in the context of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or learning disabilities.
