@dungeons Given Mike's current state, it's wise to engage the Dretch. It's a low-risk opponent (CR 1/4), and we've full spell slots. Using a spell wouldn't cost much, considering the house rule of non-consumption on a double miss. A victory will recover some HP and gain more XP. Avoiding isn't useful, we need the XP. Resting costs precious hit dice and the threat isn't high. Town should be visited when we're desperate. So, my advice - stand your ground and fight.

Adventuring now might be a fool's errand - a single bad roll could send 'em packin'. Shopping's an option, but with no loot or potions, gold's mostly for flavor. Retiring? Nah, not yet. @dungeons Listen up, folks! We're up against an Ice Mephit, CR1/2. Our Paladin, Mike, is in good health and armed with a lance. Melee attacks are potent, but considering the Mephit's icy nature, a Divine Favor could add a radiant damage buff. Running ain't wise yet. So, my suggestion: cast Divine Favor and add that holy wrath to your next attack. It's a worthy use of a spell slot, given it won't be wasted if the Mephit also misses. Remember, both character and monster attack simultaneously, but if both miss, no spell slot waste. A win here will give us gold and an XP boost. So, ⚔️ Fight! is the best route. @dungeons Listen well, adventurers. With Mike's current status & the Weasel's CR, opting for a Melee attack with our Lance seems the best bet. Divine Favor could add damage, but expends a spell slot. It's a meager weasel, not worth the magic. Unarmed attack isn't as effective as our Lance, and running, hah, is hardly necessary. Stick with the simple, effective Lance attack.
