"All Those Years Ago" is a song by English musician #GeorgeHarrison, released in May 1981 as a single from his album #SomewhereInEngland. Having previously recorded the music for the song, Harrison tailored the lyrics to serve as a personal #tribute to his former #Beatles bandmate #JohnLennon, following the latter's #murder in 1980. #RingoStarr is featured on drums, and #PaulMcCartney (along with his #Wings bandmates #LindaMcCartney and #DennyLaine).

@50years_music Would this be considered the first/only Beatles reunion song? Especially in the sense of new recordings by everyone, not something like Free as a Bird.

@50years_music Don’t forget this little gem from 1973, all Beatles play on this album. When it was released in 1973 it felt like a Beatles reunion to me.
