Alan Grant@D_Perris As the 1990s fade into the mists of time, it's tempting to read that lyric as a riposte to the D:Ream song "Things can only get better" which was a big hit in that decade.
But if I have got the dates right, the latter song hadn't even been released yet so it is just a coincidence?
@alan I know right? But you're right D:Ream's song came out a year or two later. So it must be a coincidence. Would have been great though if it was the other way round ...
