Ever wondered how to effectively use Large Language Models (such as ChatGPT) for product management? I've been asked this a lot recently, so I thought I'd share 4 tips and learnings in the comment
1. It's crucial to remember that any information you feed into ChatGPT is utilized for training purposes. This means when you're summarizing customer insights or reviewing confidential documents, exercise extra caution.
2. I personally use a beta product that calls the GPT-4 API, but importantly, it doesn’t collect my personal data.
3. It's essential to understand that GPT-4's training data has its limits. For example, the training data stops at 2021. Learn to discern when the tool is making stuff up.

4. To start, spend some time testing its limits on the things you understand really well (within product management or not), before asking about things you don’t understand very well. This way you can better understand its limitations and critically think about the answers it gives.
