AlsoPaisleyCat 🇨🇦#SomeKindOf is a widespread habit of speech used to avoid specifying a technical detail, not matter how overused in #StarTrek. If it’s a choice between manufacturing new technobabble and ‘some kind of’ Discovery will default to the latter. No matter how much I love technobabble, I recognize that the new shows seem to have been asked to dial it back as compared to Voyager’s zestful excesses.
