I think I need to update myself on all those #typhoon's & #hurricane's 'cuz they've multiplied like crazy 😬

JMA is now tracking not one, not two, but THREE typhoons in East Asia. No.10 (#Damrey) has swifted back away from Japan, whereas No.11 (#Haikul) is expected to hit Okinawa in 3-4 days. Typhoon No.9 (#Saola) has been constantly drifting around Philippines, I can't think how much rain it already dumped to Manila 😬

And over in the US East Coast, looks like #Franklin is going to travel along the coast, but I don't it would hit any landmass area particularly bad... unlike #Idalia. I think it is now over Western Cuba (check the #mediumwave #AMradio frequencies there), and tomorrow it's a brace-yourself time for NW Florida. #hurricane #typhoon

At the moment (around 0650z), 5025 kHz from Cuba is OFF, and I guess it might be too late now for Radio Habana Cuba on 6 or 9 MHz... but nevertheless I was surprised to find Radio Mali on 5995 kHz still with a good signal into Elizabeth City, NC🇺🇸 #KiwiSDR... well, looks like Bamako🇲🇱 sunset occurred not more than an hour ago, much later than anywhere here in Europe 😅 #shortwave #hurricane #HurricaneFranklin

And I've just caught a Cuban residual #jammer on 5980 kHz gone off-air too... although there's still lots of roar on 6030, 7335 & 7435, all against real Radio Marti. And a weak residual on 7355 #shortwave
