It's wild that in 2023, #Gmail still doesn't synchronize your #email signature from #desktop to #Android, and Android Gmail doesn't allow signatures with pictures or links. In order to send an email with a rich signature on Android, one needs to format it in #GoogleDocs and then paste it into Gmail. Kind of insane when you think about it, especially when considering that #Microsoft #Outlook has had these features for years. #Google #EpicFail
But when I consider moving to #Microsoft #Outlook, I realize that my #GoogleContacts won't sync automatically to Outlook, and my apatite for switching over decreases exponentially. #google
But now that I'm using my #MantisQ40 with #JAWS, I'm becoming more and more tempted to switch anyway unless there are tricks that make #Braille support less nasty which I don't know. (PS: iff you know of tricks to make JAWS' Braille support work more nicely on gmail.com, I'd love to know of them.)
@noahcarver I am set up the other way around, syncing microsoft to google.
@dhamlinmusic How do you accomplish this? Would love to know.
@noahcarver @dhamlinmusic Card DAV. Use an app password on Google to get access to contacts on something like Windows, and have that Windows signed into both accounts. Maybe there's a way to have it sync contacts. Or hell even a batch .vcf export if it can do that, apple can.
@noahcarver You log into outlook on your phone with the microsoft account, have it sync contacts, then have the Google contacts set to use microsoft account as the default for new contacts.
