Okay #Edmonton hive mind! Where can I find the darkest, most #German -est bread* in #yeg? Crust must produce a THOCK THOCK sound when you knock on it, like any good #Krustenbrot should.

I've tried a couple places but don't want to skew the results 🤠

Followup! The dark rye at Dutch Delicious is indeed delicious. Good crust. Fluffy on the inside. Classic rye taste. 👌 Gets my seal of approval.

Only thing is they can't slice it for you. So good luck with your lil knife at home, trying to slice this bad boy. 😂

@robyn Empress Bakery on 82nd, by K&K Foodliner and where Langano Skies used to be, had a pretty good double-baked rye. That's where I'd start looking.
