Very unusually I have an epic transport story today I thought worth sharing. Cambridge to London and back using EIGHT different travel modes!
1. Drove down in a hire van... which can't use the Rotherhithe tunnel so it's pay the ULEZ and over Tower Bridge, which frankly is worth the money. 😎 @transport #ULEZ #TouristManInAVan

Mode 3: Thanks Boris, I know it's a white elephant in transport terms, but another £6 for a cable car to myself is quite a bargain I guess. Note: it was 'rush hour'. #DontSayVanityProject

Modes 4-6: Can I count DLR, Elizabeth and H&C as different modes? Yes, it's my Odyssey, I can do what I like.
Got to say Reading seems a more attractive destination when you have the chance to travel there on a train from East London! #NonStop #GoingUnderground

Modes 7&8? The old ones are the best, lovely KX station, pretty relaxing train ride with time to enjoy the sunset... and what else but a stroll home through lovely #Waterbeach. #WalkingWorld #Knackered. Oh, and the van somehow still needed unpacking when I got home. 🤔 #MoreKnackered
