Hoping someone can point me in the right direction: has anyone had any luck regaining access to a hacked Facebook account by threatening a #SubjectAccessRequest? Basically like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/facebook/comments/10mredr/how_to_get_your_hacked_and_suspended_facebook/ What I'm looking for is emails on who to contact (at Meta, and/or at the ICO), template letters/suggestions as to what to include, etc. Also, does this become moot if FB deletes all account data after 30 days? i.e. is there a deadline?

@girlonthenet The data subject has the right to demand restriction of processing (GDPR article 18) where the validity of the data is in dispute. This will make deletion of the data illegal in the period used to settle the dispute. If your account has been hacked/is being misused, it seems reasonable to assume that there is a dispute on the validity of the personal data connected to the account.
