The latest on the Truth and Healing Act - West River Eagle

In 2020, then Congresswoman, now US Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland (Laguna Pueblo, D-NM), introduced a bill to bring Truth and Healing to the survivors and descendants of the US Native American boarding schools. Haaland has spearheaded similar initiatives since working with the Department of the Interior.
