An interesting and completely unplanned overlap with today's #FilmDuJour, Robert Hossein's menacing Le vampire de Düsseldorf (1965). Both are based on real-life serial killer Peter Kürten's doings (plus in M's case, Fritz Haarman and Carl Großmann). #FritzLang met Kürten as part of his research, and cast 25 real criminals as extras for his #film.
