Yesterday, the in-laws took (or at least navigated for us) a trip out to a very tip spot of the north-western shore of #NovaScotia, the lighthouse on Brier Island.

I had no idea where we were going, as somehow in my 17 years of being married to my spouse, who is from Digby, we'd never made this particular trip.

A good chunk of "Lighthouse Road" on that map is really just gravel, with some decent low spots that had recently been filled by rain.

Looking at the map now, I can see that my father-in-law doesn't really care where the parking lot for the Brier Island lighthouse is, and we just kept going with the Sienna until we couldn't go anymore. Two low spots made some noise on the underside, but there has been no new fluid spots underneath it, so I think we are good.

Yesterday I had a Donair salad at lunch at the Seabiscuit Cafe (if you are ever in Digby, highly recommend it). Tonight, I had an actual Donair from Recardo's Pizza & Donair.

The salad was a pretty close approximation, honestly. But there was a ridiculous amount of donair meat in my donair tonight.

And then after running some errands this evening, coming out of a store, I saw these amazing clouds as the weather is starting to come in.

All the times I've been to Digby, I never get tired of the view of the ocean from downtown.
