@millennialmh Heh. Hashtags are critical to a good experience on Mastodon, but it’s always possible to have too much of a good thing. :)

Try to have fewer hashtags than actual words! :) Blasting out a dozen or more hashtags in one toot might get you accused of spamming. :)

@millennialmh And to answer the question, yes, there are a few missing features, and discussions about implementing them are ongoing. Try a different client to see if it gives you some different features.

@millennialmh I think you’re right - I’ve tried different #Mastodon clients and none seems to do quote posting like X does.

If this is a must have feature, consider checking out an #Akkoma or #Firefish instance. It has a lot of features that are missing in Mastodon including quote posts/boosts, text formatting & more!
