Northstar TexOk need some help, I'm having hardware issues and I'm out of ideas.
The issue: The computer starts, all the components (fans, graphics card, CD drive) start up, but there is no display on the screen and the keyboard isn't receiving power. I'm fearing that the new motherboard is not working...
Iodine@NorthstarTex I’m not completely sure, but I’ve had computers refuse to POST if they don’t have a keyboard attached, especially a first-time boot. Are you using a PS/2 keyboard or a USB one? If USB, you could try a different port (preferably one on the other side of the computer if possible). If PS/2, then idk. I’ve never had a PS/2 keyboard not work.
Another thing to check is a status LED. If something like the RAM is not seated properly you might see a motherboard LED to indicate a problem
