Just bought a bluetooth speaker to link to my W11 PC. Currently only able to play either through this new speaker or the PC's speakers, not both at same time. Is there a simple way of playing sound through both simultaneously? Do I need a splitter?

@philmscribe
Windows was made to use one sound output at a time, but for USB and 3,5mm it is possible (hit or miss nonetheless): https://www.howtogeek.com/847605/how-to-play-audio-from-multiple-outputs-in-windows-11/

Hear sound from two audio devices at the same time.

@jt_rebelo Trying this but doesn't seem to work.
@philmscribe with bluetooth is it or miss. Is your other output on HDMI (like computer screen or TV speakers)? If so, it's nigh impossible (don't know of a situation where the instructions on the linked article ever worked).
@philmscribe do you have a 3,5mm Bluetooth transmitter? Using it to create the connection between the audio-out and the Bluetooth speaker wouls help (but not with HDMI in the loop).
@jt_rebelo I've currently got the bluetooth speaker connected via the Aux in to the headphone socket of my desktop PC.

@philmscribe you might want to try banana meter. Or some other voicemeeter product. You should be able to route the audio to both devices
