I've made some diy #vantablack. Okay, I mixed 1:1 400mesh #graphite powder with Rust-Oleum black. It looks to be having the correct effect. It has to be opaque, it has to not be shiny, and it has to be matte to hopefully prevent glinting. It's probably BS. But it made some really thick paint that coated on the first stroke. I just may paint my fence with it...one day. For now it's optical grade paint 😂. For #photography and #stereograph making.
