@SocraticEthics The hopeless feeling of being trapped is probably the worst in any tragedy: warcraft: plane crashes, climate crisis especially when we’ve long known it could be prevented but lawmakers are often slow to discern, donor funds in their pockets too alluring. This was a mix of calamities coming together: climate, hurricane, colonialism, land use, ignorance. Can’t stop weeping. Once we’re gone the Earth will regenerate but if anyone is left, will they have learned?
