I'm a sucker for the Before trilogy. Having a trilogy where each film is released around 10 years apart makes them unique and allows viewers to see how the characters and their relationships develop with time.

Filming locations being Vienna, Paris and Greece also make for great viewing:

@anttipeltola I love these films, unfortunately we’re a few years overdue for a 4th but I haven’t heard any rumors of one in the works.

@anttipeltola Definitely check out Boyhood (2014) if you haven’t already. Richard Linklater filmed 1 scene/section each year and in the end wound up with the most unique film about growing up you may ever see, you’re literally and figuratively watching these people grow and age in front of your eyes. And it’s a great film even without that trivia, it stands on its own merits. I can’t recommend it enough if you liked the Before Trilogy, they’re practically companion pieces!
