#thedefendant is absolutely cornered and he can't deal with it. I don't think it has sunk in that he's in real trouble, but what seems to be hitting him right now is someone more powerful than he is calling all the shots and he absolutely HAS to comply. There is no way out. The trial will not be moved, the judge will not be forced to recuse. This is the first time in his life that someone with more power than he has stood up to him and there's nothing he can do about it.
