Prosecraft wasn't a sophisticated tool and the developer was obvs using it to promote his app but authors have lost their minds. Analysis was basic but benign, there's no AI, it's definitely not an LLM, it wasn't republishing texts, let alone generating new ones…

The actual villains - the predatory corporate rights harvesters and the venture-funded AI ghouls - aren't even in this story. It's just terrified authors vs some guy.
