The awesome fiddle is played by Luanne Homzy. If you listen out in the show, there is one section of fiddle in the soundtrack that's even more blazing - when the gang are catapulted from the windmill up to the hilltop. I had all the tech ready to have Luanne play it under tempo and speed her up .. but in the end it wasn't needed because she is such a speed demon.

I love bluegrass in general, but I was especially inspired by the artistry of Michael Cleveland, one of my favorite musicians in the world right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFBhwTLoG0Y

I can't miss this opportunity to tell you about the "eefing". It's performed by the one and only DEKE DICKERSON. Eefing is a totally amazing Appalachian tradition, often associated with Jimmy Riddle, who popularized it on "Hee Haw" (CBS) in the 60s and 70s.

It was the director, Eddie Trigueros, who introduced me to it and wanted to get it into the show. Appropriate because eefing is about the most "Eddie"ish thing in the sonic universe.

Deke was AMAZING and knocked it out of the park for us.
