Hey folks, I have left Netlify and am beginning to look at what's next for me. Things I enjoy doing:
• building prototypes
• teaching
• writing, especially technical writing
• architectural synthesis (what should the system look like)
• organizational problem-solving (what should the org look like)
• analysis (what does the data say we should do)

I'm especially interested in companies doing interesting things with LLMs. If you think there's an opportunity I should hear about, let me know.

@seldo congratudolences?

@seldo no idea if they're hiring, but Imandra is doing very neat stuff, and a few of their team are in my close OCaml circle …

@seldo there's a "senior applied researcher" position at eBay. In general I think eBay would benefit from your influence 😁
@seldo congrats on your tenure over at Netlify, look forward to what you get up to next
@seldo good luck, Laurie! You’ve done great stuff at Netlify and I’m sure you’ll do even better stuff at your next gig

@seldo we're doing a lot of that at Stripe! There's a big focus on docs and technical writing, especially what they look like in an LLM-world.

It's a Big Company in many ways, but also there's still a lot of appetite for things one does at smaller places- prototyping, organizational changes, etc.

Happy to chat more if that's something you're interested in

@seldo take a look at Cisco. I'd love to see you join Meraki https://meraki.cisco.com/careers/ but Uncle Cisco might be more likely to have something suitable. https://jobs.cisco.com/

@seldo we need organizational problem-solving now. Nothing like a growth spurt to show the cracks in organizational design. Discord is great - I can’t recommend it enough. We’ve got LLMs going all over the place, in some really neat and healthy ways. https://discord.com/careers
