@scully that’s not entirely true.
There was a promotion going on 4-5 months ago where Hyundai was offering the full $7,500 incentive to leasees. You could then buy out the lease and convert to a traditional loan within 2-6 weeks (whenever the Hyundai Motor Finance account is set up).
The way the inflation reduction act is worded companies can claim the tax credit for vehicles which don’t qualify for consumers. Hyundai was passing that savings on as a promotion.
