Great action movie! 2 police university students discover a crime that needs urgent attention & the regular police are too busy. They learn a lot through their efforts & mistakes as they struggle with some ethical questions. There is some comedy & a good bromance, but no romance. I'm glad they didn't try to add that in. That would have been too much for a movie. There are a lot of good fight scenes & training for fighting. I was impressed that the leads don't win every fight, so you don't know what will happen.

If you watch, make sure to watch through the first part of the credits, there's another scene that makes a perfect ending.

@whoosh We really enjoyed it, too. The scenes with just the two leads talking back and forth with each other were priceless! Reminded me of old 30s 40s rapid fire movie dialogue. I only wish that in the middle (more action based) section of the film there was more of that witty dialogue. These two should definitely do another movie together.

Before this movie, I had only seen Kang Ha Neul in his small role in “Heirs”/“Inheritors" and liked him there, but I will look for him now.

He & Park Seo Joon were great together!

I liked Kang Haneul in "When the Camellia Blooms." He was also good in Misaeng, but that show was too close to real-life office anxieties for me to enjoy it. 😅

He tied for winning the popularity award this past New Years with my fave Doh Kyungsoo. "Curtain Call" is on Viki and looks well-made, but I had to pause it because so much of the premise is based on lies and that just *bothers* me, personally. 😅
