Eric BrandomI want undergraduates to read a bit of EP Thompson. In the past I've tried either the Moral Economy of the Crowd or the Time & Work-Discipline essays. Both are large. Is there another text I should try?
Ian Hunt@ebrandom My #EPThompson books are in a box so I can't recommend others right now. You have reminded me about these essays though, which are generative. My friend David did evening classes with him in Leeds on the Romantics -- for the WEA I think, he said they were amazing.
@ianhunt oh man, I bet he was amazing in the classroom. I haven't read *that* much -- the Blake book is what I was thinking for me (not the undergrads)
