At the insistence of my Xīn (心), I finally resumed Master Li, Gui-Chang’s #TuNaSiBa (吐纳四把) #Qigong exercises this morning, instead of the #XingyiQigong set I’ve been doing. It’s appropriate timing. I finished my review of fundamental #Xisuijing theory yesterday, so now I have a better understanding of all the components of this synthesis
It’s a little weird how it actually does take exactly four repetitions to conduct each form correctly, every single time—but I suppose that’s the point. Well. And the pace. I’ve talked about the pace/intensity of #Qigong exercises elsewhere. These ones are meant to be done slow. Real slow. Stretched out over 90 minutes, slow

First impression: “huh, why is my #Qi so perfectly balanced without constant all-day vigilance on my part?”

Second impression: “huh, why am I so wide awake, alert, and focused but so completely relaxed at the same time?”

Third impression: “No really why isn’t my #FireQi surging??”
