I just realized #mastodon lacks the option to get notified when somebody uses a certain #hashtag. Especially for less frequently used tags it would be a good thing to be notified when something happens. #mastodonfeedback #mastodonfeatures #allheimen @Gargron @apps

But isn't following hashtags how we get notified when someone uses a hashtag?

@MaryPot @ahaldorsen @Gargron following a hashtag only puts it in your home feed and makes it easily accessible, but you don't get any notifications.
