Trump's rise in power resulted from America's racial divide, not cult leadership, study says

The power given to Donald Trump is a result of America's racial divide rather than because he is a "cult" leader, a new study says.

I summarized an exploration of the #whitesupremacy and #racism that powered the #PartySwitch https://mstdn.party/@duaneaubin/110079047481450546

There have always been other candidates around the big winner. What drove the big winner to the big win? Great question. One consideration is the combination of timing, and a disingenuous, wink-wink, dog-whistle message that creates the sense of inclusion, of being an insider while pursuing an agenda to perpetuate #WhiteSupremacy with plausible deniability.

1/23 Why explore the #PartySwitch? #WhiteSupremacists like to deny it happened. Some just don't know any better but, from those who do, this is a flag - are they hiding something? All our threads in this discussion thus far (which I've saved on Medium pending a better way to do this, see https://medium.com/@DuaneAubin) have provided broader context towards enhancing clarity for so much of #AmericanHistory and the current state of affairs, and this topic is no different in that regard. Let's rock!
