I'm thinking of starting to post pictures and recipes for the things I make.

I'm not a great cook.. I do have a few things I cook that I'm good at, and that are more simple to make than they look. I do bake fairly well, though.

I have some questions about posting though:

1. Aside from CW them are there any other ways to make pictures and posts about food easier to navigate for people who might not want to see them?

2. Are there specific hashtags people prefer used?

3. Are there other things I should be aware of?

@aby I usually make the post clear that I'm talking about food early on and just hide the photos, but I don't know if that's the best approach
@aby i'm more likely to CW meat. But will always hashtag.
@whatshisays - ooh, a hashtag and cw specific to meat is a good idea.

@aby
And if one of the ingredients in the thing I cooked is Spam (the canned meat), does that mean my post is Spam (unwanted content)?

@aby Could you list any of the 8 most common human allergens it uses at the top so that if mine is included I can just skip the post rather than get excited about something that can Never Be Mine?

I hate watching videos and then 90 seconds into the video they add flour or something and I'm like, well, this recipe is dead to me now.

@aby including Alt text is highly encouraged and appreciated. If you can't or need help the #Alt4me and #Alt4you tags can crowdsource the text for you.

Looking forward to seeing what you post 😁
