gullfotI like the instance I am on (mastodon.art) for many reasons, but it seems to converge more and more towards visual arts. That's not a bad thing ofc, but I'm not that much into the most prominent genres here and it would be nice to feel a bit of kinship in my local feed. So I'm thinking of perhaps moving my account to a different server. If you have any suggestions let me know. Art would still be a very good common denominator I guess (ppl in music/sound/performance etc).
ryan fleming@gullfot Despite registering an account here years ago, I still feel like I'm getting my fediverse bearings and have never left the 'default' server as a consequence. But a community like the one you described would appeal to me as well.
post.lurk.org is interesting, but isn't currently accepting new members.
i don't know much about sonumu.club, but it was suggested on lines (which grew out of the old monome.org forums) as another community of sonic weirdos.
