Honestly if they got rid of the thing allowing all 50 state attorney generals to sue whenever they can cite "evidence" of harm...
...it would still be a horrible bill. But it would no longer spell the end of queer people online.

There's Chatcontrol here in the EU.
Few will protest, because who doesn't want to 'protect the children', right? And few care to look into what these two proposals actually mean, and what kind of consequences they will have for free speech, privacy, and online safety.
It's sickening.

@AlgoCompSynth No idea. I have friends who speculate that the big tech companies don't mind this bill because they'll have the resources to cope with stringent requirements tho.
